Kasimpasa – Trabzonspor Prediction & Picks (18.08.2019)

Kasimpasa-Trabzonspor

Kasimpasa – Trabzonspor SOCCER PICKS

It is no longer a secret that some Süper Lig clubs are sympathetic to Turkish President Erdogan. Some teams, such as Istanbul Basaksehir, even have functionaries in their own ranks with a connection to the governing party AKP. After Ekrem Imamoglu won the election in Istanbul, the political influence on Istanbul clubs such as Basaksehir and Kasimpasa seems to be diminishing.

The last season was catastrophic anyway. After a strong first round Kasimpasa played at the end of the season against relegation and came off lightly. In the new season starts the shaken Elf under former coach Kemal Özdes. Right at the start of the season, Kasimpasa face Trabzonspor – and a prediction on the home side seems to be out of place here.

In the summer Kasimpasa has hardly upgraded and lost with Trezeguet the next major performer. In addition, the Erdogan club has hardly strengthened on the defensive, which is why the susceptibility of the last season is expected to continue in the new season. Trabzonspor will also welcome a team that has already played two competitive games in the new season.

The Black Sea club celebrated their entry into the qualifying playoffs of the Europa League during the week and is full of euphoria for the new Süper Lig season. The strong attempts from the qualifiers against Sparta Prague is to continue in the league match against Kasimpasa.

Kasimpasa:

Istanbul clubs with ties to Turkish President Erdogan will wait in vain for political support this season. The new mayor Ekrem Imamoglu has specifically stated that it is not the government’s job to support football clubs in the Süper Lig.

Kasimpasa and Basaksehir could thus become the problem children in the upcoming Süper Lig season. Especially Kasimpasa had waited in vain for the desired success in this calendar year and could prevent a descent only thanks to the strong first round. In the second half Kasimpasa was the worst Süper Lig team and put in the previous season, the weakest defensive in the league.

Kemal Özdes should build on old times and bring the team back on track. The summer activities in the transfer market were manageable and there was no significant reinforcement, which is why recovery at Kasimpasa is not really in sight. In addition, went with Trezeguet the next key performer in the squad of Özdes.

Last year, Kasimpasa was able to compensate for the defensive concerns in the squad with superior offensive performances. To what extent Kemal Özdes can impose on the team a new game system is not in sight. With the same concept from the previous year, Kasimpasa will perish in the upcoming Süper Lig season.

With Sadiku, a key player will miss the opening fixture against Trabzonspor. In the already weak defense of Kasimpasa had midfielder Sadiku played a crucial role and was a strong backing of the team. How his loss can be compensated in the manageable array of Kasimpasa remains uncertain.

Trabzonspor:

Trabzonspor celebrates with much Ach and noise still the entry into the qualifying playoffs of the Europa League. The Black Sea club was able to benefit after the comeback in the first leg of the home advantage against Sparta Prague and got off to a good start with an early lead. Throughout the game, Ünal Karaman’s protégés presented themselves in a strong shape, but then cramped to the end of the game.

With the interim balance, the momentum was on the part of the Czech representative. In the end, however, Trabzonspor managed to secure the ticket for the next round with a narrow victory – despite the missed penalty mark – as the Black Sea club will now meet AEK Athens.

In the domestic Süper Lig on this game day the next adventure is initiated. Although the traditional club on the Black Sea is not one of the favorites, club president Agaoglu is optimistic that his team will be back in the mix. A title win is always the goal of the Black Sea Club.

With Yusuf Yazici was the first offensive gem of the team delivered. With players like Abdülkadir Ömür and Abdülkadir Parmak Trabzonspor still has promising youngsters. The departure of midfield conductor Yazici will still be difficult to cope with. Numerous new additions in the summer to strengthen the Kaderbreite at the Black Sea Club.

In the away game against Kasimpasa, the strong Trabzon offensive will face a vulnerable defensive. When considering the extent to which the Black Sea Club has presented itself offensively in preparation, fireworks on the first match day can hardly be ruled out. The strong form of the Black Sea club is certainly reason enough to risk a prediction at Kasimpasa against Trabzonspor.
