Galatasaray – Trabzonspor Prediction & Picks (01.04.2018)

Eight games to go before the end of the current season in the Süper Lig, the four Istanbul clubs Galatasaray, Basaksehir, Besiktas and Fenerbahce continue to dominate the events in Turkey. However, after a few changes at the top of the table, it seems that Galatasaray, Basaksehir and Besiktas are the champions. Currently, Galatasaray has the best charts and is currently leading the table. However, the lead is only thin. On Sunday Trabzonspor arrives at the Türk Telekom Arena, against which Gala wants to maintain its leading position.

In the Turkish Cup Galatasaray won the first leg at the end of February in the semi-final away at Akhisar Belediyespor 2-1. Thus Galatasaray has opened the door to the cup win and thus the double wide.

Trabzonspor:

Because Trabzonspor are in fifth place behind the four clubs in Istanbul who could still qualify for the Europa League at the end of the season – depending on who wins the Turkish Cup. However, the competition already grabs the hooves and even Sivasspor in eighth place has only four fewer meters than Trabzonspor. In the international break the club from Trabzon said goodbye with two clear victories. Akhisar Belediyespor (currently ninth) had a solid 3: 1 win, conceding a goal in injury time. At home against Yeni Malatyaspor (currently tenth place) Trabzonspor then put it one on top and won 4: 1. Overall, the record with eleven wins, nine draws and six defeats as positive as the goal difference of 45:37.

Away, Trabzonspor is currently the fourth-best team in the Süper Lig. In thirteen away games there were only two defeats. This Trabzonspor has together with Fenerbahce the fewest. However, avoiding the seven-point divisions on the opponent’s place, and thus most of the league a better placement. Trabzonspor is only four away winners. Interesting: Both at Fenerbahce as well as Basaksehir and Besiktas Trabzonspor played each 2: 2. Trabzonspor had to play against these three clubs from Istanbul in his first four away games of the season and he held his own. Trabzonspor have been undefeated for four away matches in the Süper Lig – four wins and four defeats.
