It was Fenerbahce last season, now Besiktas. The “black eagles” are the problem child of the new Süper Lig season and ranked after six matchdays on a relegation zone. Under new coach Abdullah Avci, things are not going well.
Besiktas did not convince at national level nor in the Europa League. During the week there was the next damper with the last-minute defeat against the Wolves.
At the weekend is now the home game against the current leaders Alanyaspor. With the current negative trend, however, hardly anything speaks for a prognosis on the guests.
The odds on an away win the league leaders, however, have value. Alanyaspor is playing a strong season under new coach Erol Bulut and has earned a deserved pole position.

In the derby against Trabzonspor on the last match day, the crisis of the “black eagle” with the military hospital intensified even more. Four goals were collected in the derby against the Black Sea club. In the last four competitive games Besiktas has conceded a total of 13 goals.
For Abdullah Avci, the recent form loss is mainly due to injury concerns in the squad. At the weekend, the hospital of the “black eagle” shrinks. Only the suspended Elneny Avci will not be available in the home game against Alanyaspor.

Erol Bulut is also the guarantee of success for Alanyaspor. The pole position of Alanya is not surprising after the previous performances. The team around Erol Bulut has played convincingly and even won the home game against Fenerbahce. Although there were two draws in a row in the last race, they were still able to defend the championship lead. With 13 goals in the first six Süper Lig games Alanyaspor currently represents the strongest offensive in the league.
Alanyaspor had already convinced with a strong offensive game in the years before. Year after year, however, the club from the holiday area lacked the necessary stability on the defensive, which is why the team missed a jump on the international ranks.
With Erol Bulut, Alanyaspor has found just the right coach to overcome the discrepancy between offensive and defensive play. In the away game in Istanbul Bulut will have to do without the three injured players Lokman Gör, Juanfran and Salih Ucan.
