Leganes – Levante FREE PICKS

Apart from the sporting honor, there is little more at stake on Monday evening, when Leganes receives a visit from Levante on Monday night in his own Butarque. Both teams have been in good shape in recent weeks and are keen to finish the season in a good way.

Leganes:

For Leganes, the remaining three rounds of play do not really matter anymore. The Madrilenians managed to stay outside the relegation season all season and can therefore look back on a successful season. Trainer Asier Garitano, who managed to lead the club from the Segunda B to La Liga, has also done an excellent job in the Butarque this year. Reportedly, the coach would be interested in Celta de Vigo, although his departure would be a sporting disaster for Los Pepineros. After all, Garitano knows how to get the maximum return from a rather poor selection.

The base of Leganes is clearly in the back. Especially in their own home, the Madrilenians did not win with no less than four clean sheets in the last six home matches. However, scoring has been a problem all season, because with only 41 hits, the blues are the second-least-scoring squad by La Liga. As if that was not enough, club top scorer Gabriel Pires (five goals) will be suspended this week. Also wings Alexander Szymanowski should go absent because of injuries.

Levante:

Levante has also been assured of a new season at the highest level, but for the fans of the club from Valencia it was regular buttocks this season. Under former head coach Juan Muniz, the redblues were in free fall, but interim manager Paco Lopez was able to make the turn-around just in time. In the eight games under his leadership, Los Granotas took no less than nineteen points with six victories, a draw and only one loss, so Levante can take a breath of fresh air again. Naturally, a permanent contract for Lopez is only a matter of time.

Levante is fairly similar to Leganes. With the exception of captain Jose Luis Morales, the club has little individual class, but as a team the redblues have been extremely difficult to beat since the appointment of Lopez. The goal has already been achieved, but Lopez does not intend to get his foot off the accelerator: “We want to win all matches, that is what we want to radiate. I am therefore not planning to rotate, I just choose the strongest team. ‘ Morales in particular will be very motivated, as he is only one goal away to crown himself at the highest level all time club top scorer of Levante. At the moment El Commandante is on the same level with eighteen hits with David Barral.
