Celta Vigo – Malaga PREDICTION & PREVIEW (08.01.2017)

Good evening, we are going again with day 17 of the league Santander between Celta de Vigo and Malaga.

Forecast: Win the Celtic, payable at 1.91 at William Hill.

Arguments:

1- A priori, and if we look at the classification alone, it may seem like a very close match, as Celta is 13th with 21 points and Malaga 11th with the same points. However if we analyze the last meetings of both teams we will see why Celta is favorite.

2- The Celta comes from practically eliminating of the Glass of the King to the Valencia, which endorsed in the stadium of Mestalla a 1-4, while Malaga was eliminated of Glass of the King by the Cordova, that militates in 2º division, After beating in La Rosaleda by 3-4, fact that caused the resignation of its trainer Juande Ramos.

3- Celta has only lost 3 of their last 10 games, tied 2, and won 5, while Malaga only won 3, tied 3, and lost 4, and has now 5 consecutive games without a win. It should be noted that the Celta of the 3 games lost lately, two of them have been against a priori superior teams like Bilbao and Sevilla.
