Schweinfurt – Burghausen SOCCER PICKS

On Monday evening, it comes as part of the 30th match day to the top match in the Regionalliga Bayern between 1. FC Schweinfurt 05 and SV Wacker Burghausen. The duel is even broadcast live on Free TV and is on Easter Monday in not too much competition to other sporting events. Both clubs are therefore looking forward to the large public presence and would like to advertise on their own behalf. The Burghauser want to catch the Schweinfurt on the fourth table place still like; currently they are three points behind the Schnüdel. However, it will be extremely difficult to drive a three in Schweinfurt and it is highly ambitious in any case as they are a strong home team.

Last weekend, both teams were victorious, so two very confident teams will compete. The Burghauser also had a catch-up game last Wednesday, which ended a little disappointing at home only 1: 1 against the second substitution of FC Augsburg. With both clubs also meet two relatively classic and strongly differing regional league models on each other. While Schweinfurt partly relies on full profit, has committed a well-known coach and pushes with all his might into the third division, is practiced in Burghausen, the dual model with another full-time employment and after-school football. But this is just one of several interesting aspects of the meeting of the table neighbors from the upper third of the table. On which team in the duel Schweinfurt against Burghausen could be worth a tip, analyzed the betting base in detail below.

Schweinfurt:

The Schweinfurt have some players with higher class experience. First and foremost are captain Stefan Kleineheismann (222 third division games for Erfurt, Offenbach and Halle), full back Ronny Philp (appearances in the highest German three leagues for Augsburg, Fürth, Regensburg and Heidenheim) and playmaker Florian Trinks (also missions in the highest German three Leagues for Bremen, Fürth and Chemnitz). While Kleineheismann his intended role as a leader and stabilizer of the defense as intended fills and also Trinks’ scorer points are at least neat, Philp has lost his place under coach Timo Wenzel. Wenzel should also be known to many football fans from his active career, he made more than 150 Bundesliga games for VfB Stuttgart, Kaiserslautern and FC Augsburg and also gained international experience in Cyprus and Greece.

His coaching career began auspiciously (after two years at the second representation of SV Elversberg he was admitted to the football teacher training course and earned there with his diploma the highest possible qualification) and the Schweinfurt he could at least safely establish in the top five, even if one hopes had to participate a bit longer in the promotion race. At the beginning of April, the sporting director of ex-Bundesliga professional Björn Schlicke also decided to extend Wenzel’s option by one year plus one more year. Also extended at the end of March was goalgetter Adam Jabiri (a Bundesliga match for TSG Hoffenheim). A very important piece of the puzzle in order to be able to make a new attempt towards ascension next year as the 34-year-old is by far the best clippers in the Schnüdel squad. Although he will already be 35 in just a few weeks, his scoring instinct will surely leave him a top striker at regional league level for several seasons.

Even if the ascent train has left, the Schweinfurt team still want to win every game and say goodbye as third in the summer break. On the final day of the game, a sovereign away win was won by second-placed SpVgg Greuther Fürth. The Schnüdel presented themselves – with the exception of the last two home games – at home as a real power. Despite their two recent home defeats, they have suffered by far the least goals and are eager to start another impressive home run against Wacker. In the game Schweinfurt against Burghausen, the forecast is therefore in the direction of home win.

Burghausen:

After the Burghauser played in the middle of the previous decade even five years at a stretch (2002-2007) in the second division and in this period also had some very prominent names in their ranks (including Thomas Broich, Youssef Mokhtari, Tom Geissler or Stefan Reisinger), they announced the end of the season 2016/17 their farewell to the full profit. Thus, in Burghausen now in the second season after-school football is played. In addition to ball sports, all players pursue another main activity such as job, study or training. The result of this change, however, despite significantly lower costs, a quite considerable sporting success. Because after a ninth place in the preseason they have this time even in the upper third of the table set. This is all the more astonishing, since it is even more successful since the conversion than in the last full professional season, which finished in summer 2017 in eleventh place.

The Upper Bavarians live clearly from the collective. There are no outstanding individual players and even in football the most urgent task of goal shooting was distributed over many different shoulders. So it is noticeable that although no Wacker actor has hit double digits, but with Muhamed Subasic, Julien Richter, Stefan Wächter and Marius Duhnke have already set four players more than five times. Despite an extraordinarily young squad, the Burghauser are not characterized by particularly stormy appearances, but live primarily from their good defensive, which means that games with Wacker participation are among the poorest in the league. However, the last away game of the Burghauser came to an exception and ended with a 3-2 victory in Memmingen surprisingly rich in goals. In this away win, the team, which are generally easier away from home, showed a great morale, as they were at half-time with 0: 2 and until the 85th minute still with 1: 2 back.

The last two games Wacker played at home against two acutely relegation-endangered teams: Against the 16th SV Heimstetten came to a very shaky behind in the 3-2 win, from the 15th FCA II separated 1: 1. Bad news brought a few days ago midfielder Stefan Wächter: He leaves the Burghauser in the summer and changes to the new season to designated regional league promoters SV Türkgücü-Ataspor Munich, where he will take on a key role under former 1860 coach Rainer Maurer. The loss of other top performers must be feared, which currently even in the general Burghauser idyll at least in the approach but a little stir up trouble. But Wacker will consistently pull through his dual system implemented two years ago and therefore no players can put obstacles in the way of players who want to dedicate themselves to the most beautiful thing in the world in the main profession. Against Schweinfurt Burghausen is according to the forecast of the bookmaker according to the outsider of the game.
