Breda – G.A. Eagles SOCCER PICKS

After the first round of the KNVB Cup, the focus in the Kitchen Champion Division can be on the thirteenth game round. NAC Breda hopes to end lesser results in-house, but will hit a Go Ahead Eagles that has been undefeated for two months. Will we get a winner, or will Go Ahead Eagles share the points for the umpteenth time this season?

NAC Breda:

For NAC Breda, the weekday round of the KNVB Cup was very convenient. The expectations around the De Parel van het Zuiden are very high this season. Winning the first period title of the Kitchen Champion Division was a welcome boost, but since then the results for the Breda club have not been surprising enough. First there was a draw at FC Eindhoven, then there was a loss of title competitor De Graafschap to the home crowd and NAC also went down at Roda JC last weekend.

Due to the lesser results, NAC dropped to fourth place. There will not be real panic yet, because the gap with leaders SC Cambuur and De Graafschap is only three points, but there will soon have to be a halt to the lesser results in the competition. On Monday, the Breda players took on the premier league FC Emmen in the first round of the KNVB Cup in their own Rat Verlegh Stadium. NAC converted after a match with a lot of spectacle thanks to a 3-2 win.

G.A. Eagles:

Go Ahead Eagles has to do it after twelve competition duels with ninth place in the Kitchen Champion Division and is therefore just in the left row. The main reason for the relatively low ranking is the many draws that the team has already recorded this season. Go Ahead Eagles played a draw during half of their games. That Kowet played against FC Den Bosch 0-0 precisely last weekend should not be called a surprise. The Bosschenaren this season namely the king of the draws with seven draws.

On Monday confidence was gained in the KNVB Cup by Go Ahead Eagles. It went to visit Almere City, which has been unbeaten on its own field for a long time in competition. At the beginning of October, the two teams also played each other in the Yanmar Stadium and that game then ended in 1-1. With a number of fresh powers, the Deventer formation won 1-3 on Monday in Flevoland. The Swedish flank player Adrian Edqvist in particular made a good impression.
