No disappointment was the favorites on Saturday night in Group G of the current European Championship qualification. Both Italy, Bosnia and Greece celebrated safe victories against the underdogs in the group. On the second matchday, on Tuesday night, the rejuvenated Squadra Azzurra with soccer midfielder Liechtenstein has the next easy opponent in front of his chest, while the two candidates in second place will face each other in direct duel. Bosnia against Serbia enjoys home rights on Tuesday!
For both teams, this duel on the second match day is already absolutely trend-setting. Normally, Italy should take first place in this group. The second European Championship ticket will probably make these two teams with each other. Nations League group winner Bosnia has at least a trump in the hindquarters and could solve one of the four Nations League tickets in case of emergency. The focus, however, is on a top two place in Group G, a home win against the Greeks is targeted. The game starts on Tuesday evening at 19:45.
Bosnia:
In the new UEFA Nations League, Bosnia was able to prevail in the Austria Group and celebrate the group victory. Thanks to this success Dzeko & Co. have not only fixed the promotion to the highest league A, but in the coming year will also deny the Nations League Final Group B tournament and could secure a ticket for the pan-European EM 2020 this way.
