In South America, the qualifying for the World Cup next year in Russia will continue in August. However, many South American countries still use the June to re-examine their own form in one or other friendly game. After only 6 wins and 4 draws with already 4 defeats, Argentina just has 22 points in the account and must therefore still work in the remaining 4 qualifying games still quite beautiful. Lastly, the Argentine national team had still played in the qualification in March under coach Bauza 2 national matches. At the same time, Lionel Messi’s goal in the home game against Chile was a 1: 0 defeat. Nevertheless, the football life is still going on in Brazil, too, and the Brazilians are quite satisfied with the South American qualification for the 2018 World Cup. Finally, the team of coach Tite is in the qualifying group after 14 game days with 33 points on the 1st place in the group. The advantage of the league table for Argentina is already 10 points, so it is not expected that the Selecao will be able to provide the direct qualification for the World Cup in Russia.
Lastly, the Brazilians had two games in the qualification in March of this year and there were 2 more wins for Brazil. In the first place, the team played an impressive 4-1 win against Uruguay in Montevideo. Neymar also made a significant contribution to victory, but the man of the match was clearly Paulinho, who was able to win 3 goals to the deserved victory. A few days after this great success, the Selecao had to go against Paraguay in their home country, and Tite’s team had no trouble in this respect and consolidated the lead in the South American qualification with a clear 3-0 victory.

The coach Tite has brought his team back into the track and the team will not be able to qualify for Russia. At the end of the week there is only a friendshake on the program, but because it is against Argentina, the explosiveness of course is nevertheless high. However, the coach with Neymar, Marquinhos, Miranda, Marcelo and Dani Alves have not called some important players so shortly after the season end in the squad.
