Hannover-Hoffenheim

Hannover – Hoffenheim SOCCER PICKS

In the midweek round of the Bundesliga, Hannover 96 and TSG Hoffenheim face each other. There is room for improvement for the home team, while the visitors also do not experience a dream start of the season.

Hannover 96:

Hannover 96 has a meager pick of two points after four races. Last weekend it went wrong for Die Roten in the away match against FC Nürnberg. Miiko Albornoz made a foul after a half hour on a broken player. The VAR and the referee knew no mercy and sent him off the field. With ten men, H96 could work hard for some time, but in the end the team collapsed from the capital of Lower Saxony. In Nuremberg, 2-0 was lost.

‘It’s great that we have the opportunity to do better,’ coach André Breitenreiter looked at from the positive side. After the game against Hoffenheim, duels with Eintracht Frankfurt and VfB Stuttgart will follow for the international break. To make it not a tedious season, Hanover has to take a handful of points in this series. Whether this will also happen is the question. H96 has an eleven with few exceptional players.

TSG Hoffenheim:

TSG Hoffenheim played a home match against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday. And the club from Sinsheim actually did very well. After a difficult opening phase Hoffenheim, with Joshua Brenet in the base, took the helm. Brenet covered the entire right flank and was involved in some dangerous moments for the Dortmund goal. It was the strong striker Joelinton who gave the right 1-0 just before half time.

Hoffenheim could not finish the job in the second half. With a man less, the guests from Westphalia grabbed a point. This was undoubtedly the two loss points for Die TSG, although the way in which it was played should ensure confidence. The infirmary at the club is still not completely empty. Particularly in the midfield there are the necessary absentees. Kerem Demirbay seemed to be sitting against his return, but experienced a slight setback. Perhaps he will make his minutes on Tuesday in Hannover.
