The only thing Hodgson will be very dissatisfied with is the fact that his team only got one point. Palace has been unbeaten for five league matches, but played no less than four of those five games. If you are at the bottom of the Premier League, then those results do not make a difference. In the next three games, at least four points must be taken, also in view of the opposition that Palace will encounter in those duels.

Watford:

In the ninth place in the Premier League you will meet Watford. After sixteen games, the team has already collected 22 points and for a team like Watford that is a very good performance. The top ten should be possible this season, but if Watford manages to avoid relegation, the team has also done a very good job. And the avoidance of relegation now belongs, to say the least, to the possibilities.

Coach Marco Silva was not exactly talking about the course of the race after the match against Burnley last weekend. That is often the case when a manager sees his own team lose 1-0, but Silva was particularly dissatisfied with the red card from Zeegelaar, which he found unjustified. That can be disputed about, but the fact is that Zeegelaar seriously hurt his team. Since that red card Watford has had nothing to crumble and played a very difficult game.

For The Clarets it was already the third game in a row in which there was no win. In those three games, Watford grabbed only one run, but if you play against Burnley and at home against Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, it is not surprising that you catch a few points. But when visiting Crystal Palace, Watford should be able to get at least one point on paper. Anyway, everybody is on paper.
