Inter Milan and Getafe meet in the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League. The match will be played on Wednesday, at 20:00, on Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen (Germany), without spectators.
The tour between Inter and Getafe was not contested, after the competition was interrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic. Thus, the team that will reach the quarterfinals will be decided after a single match, played on neutral ground.
The Italians ended the Serie A season in force. They won the last three stages to zero, managing to defeat two European teams, Napoli (2-0) and Atalanta (2-0). On the other hand, Getafe had a disastrous course after the resumption of the season, with only one success obtained in 11 games (5 defeats). These results also led to a ranking outside the top 7, positions that lead to the Champions League and Europa League.
Getafe have not looked good in the games played in recent months and it is hard to believe that they can produce a surprise in this game. We simply bet on a success achieved by the “Nerazzurri”, but also on a duel in which a maximum of three goals will be scored.
