Young Boys – Manchester United Prediction & Picks (19.09.2018)

Young Boys – Manchester United SOCCER PICKS

Manchester United starts its European season with an away match against the Swiss Young Boys. Do the English get the full booty, on the artificial grass of the Stade de Suisse?

Young Boys:

The club from Bern played a good number of matches in the last decade, even though it was mainly in the Europa League. Until this season, Young Boys in the Champions League repeatedly stranded in the preliminaries. In the play-offs for this group stage Young Boys played in the first match. At home, the Swiss against Dinamo Zagreb did not get further than 1-1. In Croatia it did not start well, with an early backlog. The odds returned in the second half. Guillaume Hoarau scored twice, which won YB 1-2 and placed himself in club history for the CL’s main event for the first time.

The selection of Young Boys does not contain many famous names. Miralem Sulejmani does play for the Swiss club. Earlier in his career he was pretty sensitive to injury, but in Bern he makes many minutes. This weekend he was spared, just like a number of other basic players. In the cup match against FC Schaffhausen, the Serb came in the field as a substitute. He scored in the match won after being extended.

Manchester United:

Last year’s second place in the Premier League also brought Manchester United back to the Champions League. In terms of name and fame, the club also belongs in the king’s class, although few people will see the team this season as one of the favorites for the final win. There are teams with more quality, a problem that the club will probably run into this season in their own country. In the league there was already lost twice, so there is already a backlog.

All this does not benefit the mood of coach Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese has absolutely no chemistry with his own team. In the meantime he is looking for a row with the British press. The atmosphere around the Mancunians is currently not very good. In the Premier League, United recovered somewhat from the previous two defeats. That is how it was won last weekend. On visiting Watford it finished in 1-2. Mourinho does not have Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo available for Wednesday’s game. Luke Shaw also seems to have to fit for the match in Bern.
