Tottenham – PSV SOCCER PICKS

Tuesday, at 20:00, Tottenham receives PSV Eindhoven’s visit to London’s Wembley stadium. The hosts have outgrown the championship game with Wolverhampton to have one more day of rest, and Mauricio Pochettino and his students know this game is the most important European test of the year for Spurs.

The tour was 2-2 in the Netherlands, after a spectacular match, in which Tottenham was hit (once again) by bad luck. The English, clearly technically and tactically superior, were led 1-0 on the “Phillips Stadion”, but turned the fate of the game until the break. At 2-1, Tottenham had Hugo Lloris eliminated, and the hosts scored fortunate, overtime, after a fixed phase badly managed by Mauricio Pochettino’s defender. If 11 to 11 were played, Tottenham would not have missed the away victory and would have retained the chances of qualifying.

Draw does not help any of the teams!

Group B ranking is quite complicated. Barcelona and Inter Milan are in the top two places, the Catalans have 9 points and the Italians 6. PSV and Tottenham have lost their games with Barca and Inter and now have just one point after the two weeks’ meeting. Any of the bands will win Tuesday night, keep intact skill qualities, especially if Barcelona beat Inter Milan in Italy. In this case, the rankings would be balanced and everyone is aware that the draw does not help anyone, “Wembley.”

Tottenham comes after a fierce match played in the Wolverhampton court, but Mauricio Pochettino has a valid bout for the Champions League match. PSV gets everything that meets in the championship, where he consistently scores 3-4 goals per game. Surprisingly, PSV lost on his own ground (after overtime) in front of RKC Waalwijk, the second league team in the Dutch Cup. It was 3-2 for Waalwijk, 2-2 in the regular time, and failure could affect the confidence of Mark van Bommel’s students. Even if it is a spectacular domestic band, PSV has not technically and physically demonstrated by Tottenham in recent years, so the host’s victory is the logical result.
