Levante and Valencia will face each other in a new Valencian derby.
Those of Celades arrive after winning the derby of the Valencian Community in yesterday at Villarreal (2-1), something that always gives a plus for the next day, and more if it is another somewhat hotter derby.
For a few days there are all visitor tickets sold, so Valencia will not be alone in the field of Levante.
As I said in the Valencia-Villarreal pick, the cheeses are tied to points with Athletic Bilbao (they still have to play their match today vs Granada), which marks the Europa League line, so they are still in full fight for those positions Europeans Winning at the Ciutat de Valencia, apart from all that that means in a derby, would strengthen them in that momentary 7th place for now.
In front, a good Levante that chains 2 victories in a row (Mallorca and Barcelona) at home, being the 7th best place so far in the League, with 10 goals in his favor and only 5 against. They still have to play Getafe-Levante today, so a victory would make Levante and Valencia reach the derby tied.
However, it seems that the Levante-Valencia is not bad at all.
The last Valencian victory in rival field was in 2012 in Copa (0-3). Since then, 6 derbies with 4 Levante victories and 2 draws.
Hopefully Valencia will break that drought and give us one more pick.
