On Wednesday, at 16:30, Partizan Belgrade travels to Surdulica for the duel with Radniki, from the quarterfinals of the Serbian Cup. Unlikely to witness a surprise here.
It will be played without spectators, but Partizan’s supremacy should be clear. Even though they lost the championship title in favor of the Red Star, Partizan have a series of four consecutive victories in the official matches: 4-1 with Mladost, 2-1 at Vozdovac, 4-0 with Spartak Subotica and 1-0 with Radnicki-Nis.
Instead, Radniki comes after a draw with Proleter (1-1), being a “second hand” team in the first Serbian league. After 27 stages, Partizan is on the 2nd place (goal average 63-20), while the blues are on the 10th place (goal average 30-41), quite far from the danger of relegation. The Belgrade team has won 9 of the last 10 direct matches, the last time at home, with 3-0, in the championship.
