The bookmakers do not expect a success from the guests. At the game Kaiserslautern vs. Zwickau speak the odds clearly for the home side. The betting base comes in their preliminary report but to a slightly different assessment and trusts the guests that they do not lose at the FCK.

Kaiserslautern :

The 1. FC Kaiserslautern was one of the big favorites for the resurgence in the third league season 2018/19 started. The Palatine landed in the 3rd league but quite fast and very rude on the ground of the facts. So had after the 0: 5 at SpVgg Unterhaching on Matchday 17 coach Michael Frontzeck pack his bags. At that time, the FCK was in 12th place, four points before the first relegation rank. As new coach Sascha Hildmann was then committed. The balance under the new coach stands at three wins, two draws and two bankruptcies. Kaiserslautern was unable to make any great progress with this result in the table. Meanwhile, the club is in 10th place. Only the distance to the relegation zone has increased slightly with eight counters. After this hitherto so difficult season was the 1-0 in the derby at KSC last weekend balm on the souls of the Palatinate.

The derby hero was Dominik Schad, who scored the only goal of the day in the 76th minute. Especially at the defense of the FCK bit the Karlsruhe, who had previously remained eleven league games in a row without defeat, the teeth off. Thus, the Red Devils remained in the seventh game under Hildmann already for the fifth time without a goal. In the offensive developed Lautern but only in the second round train to the gate. FCK coach Hildmann has not distinguished himself as a big fan of a solid lineup. The coach is not afraid to make two to three changes each week. He has to do that too against Zwickau. Right winger Christoph Hemlein has to serve a yellow-barrier. Esmel and Spalvis are missing injured. Midfielder Mads Albaek and striker Timmy Thiele have started training again during the week.

Zwickau:

After four games in which Zwickau had brought only one point overall, the FSV was on Sunday to collect important points in the fight for survival with the 2-0 at home against Jena. From the beginning, the red-whites in the Eastern Derby were the more active and purposeful team. With a balanced mix of long balls and fast ball shots, the men of coach Joe Enochs could always embarrass the stable defense of Jena. Also combative, the West Saxons showed an appealing performance. The US coach actually wanted to let his team play in 3-5-2 over the entire 90 minutes; in between, however, it was a 5-3-2, which was not really agreed with Enochs.

After the first round of the FSV had still been in a good ninth place. With only one point from the first four games of the second half, Zwickau had been passed down the table slightly. If the FSV after a bottom now back to the achievements of the preliminary round, should one at the duel Kaiserslautern vs.. Zwickau consider a forecast on the score. During the week it was also announced in Zwickau that sports director David Wagner will leave the club after the current season. His successor will be the current FSV captain Toni Wachsmuth, who will also end his active footballing career after the current round. Coach Enochs has to give up the injured Bickel, Hodek and Mäder in the Palatinate.
