Jong Ajax – Jong Utrecht SOCCER PICKS

On Monday evening, Young Ajax will play a catch-up match against Jong FC Utrecht at De Toekomst. The Amsterdam team of promises is still undefeated this season for its own public, while the Domsteps are the surprise of the season.

Young Ajax:

Young Ajax is the team that has performed the best in all of the promising teams that played in the Kitchen Champion Division in recent seasons. Two seasons ago the Amsterdammers even grabbed the title. Due to agreements made and especially the presence of Ajax 1 in the Eredivisie, promotion was not possible. This season the results are again excellent. Seventeen points were achieved from the first ten games and with this Young Ajax occupies sixth place. Title favorites such as SC Cambuur, NAC Breda, De Graafschap and Excelsior are still within reach, so a new stunt cannot be completely excluded.

For Jong Ajax, the recent international break came in an inconvenient way. First a visit to MVV was won 4-1 and then the team of coach Mitchell van der Gaag FC Eindhoven handed out a blow by winning 6-0 at De Toekomst. Young Ajax performed quite well in front of their own audience last season and in the first months of the new Kitchen Champion Division season, the team is still unbeaten, winning three times, once tied. Last Friday was surprisingly narrowly lost from Young AZ. Lassina Traoré and Nicolas Kühn were accurate on behalf of the Amsterdam promises.

Jong Utrecht :

Jong FC Utrecht will play for the fourth consecutive season in the Keuken Kampioen Division. The results have stagnated in recent years. In the 2016-2017 season, 37 points were achieved, 27 the following year and only 23 points last season. The Domstedelingen never finished higher than eighteenth in the Kitchen Champion Division, but this season Young FC Utrecht seems to have a good chance of surpassing this result.

The team of coach René Hake achieved eighteen points from the first ten games and is thus in fourth place at loss points. Young FC Utrecht, thanks to a utilized penalty kick by Jonas Arweiler, surprisingly went to the changing rooms with a minimal lead. De Graafschap came alongside immediately after the break and then wanted to push through, but Artweiler gave Jong FC Utrecht the lead again just before time. A new stunt seemed to be in the making, it was not before Branco van den Boomen saved a point for De Graafschap in injury time.
