Vitesse – Heracles Prediction & Picks (07.10.2018)

Vitesse-vs.-Heracles

Vitesse – Heracles SOCCER PICKS

Vitesse is in his own Gelredome on Sunday afternoon against Heracles performing above expectation. Does the club from Almelo also take Vitesse points off?

Vitesse:

Vitesse does not experience the desired start of the competition. After seven matches, the club, which declared the ambition to go for third place at the start of the season, only scored nine points. Last week Vitesse went down in de Kuip. Feyenoord was too strong for the yellow blacks at the last minute with 2-1. Initially, Vitesse had a good control of the business and the team also took the lead. In the second half, the team from Arnhem had to allow the necessary chances, and they finally got to deal with a defeat.

The missed points were not the only negative. Tim Matavz fell out with a serious injury – we do not see him in action for the time being. Thomas Bruns and Danilo Doekhi got the red card from the arbiter. They are suspended for Sunday’s game. Bryan Linssen can probably be used again, although this is not entirely certain yet. Oussama Darfalou will replace Matavz during rush hour. So far, the Algerian did not make too big an impression in his incursions. Maybe a base place gives him more confidence.

Heracles:

Heracles Almelo has an unexpected, good start to this football year. The Almelers are in second place after sixteen points after seven matches. Those sixteen points are as many as Ajax and Feyenoord currently have. Last week, Heracles played the home game against FC Emmen. Within ten minutes, the Heracmen were leading 2-0. The spectators who once went well for it, expecting a monster score, were disappointed. Emmen was difficult and Heracles took the three points with the heels over the ditch (2-1).

Coach Frank Wormuth looked forward to the difficult away game that awaits his team on Sunday. ‘Vitesse plays good football and certainly at home they will not wait,’ said the German on the club site of Heracles. ‘Vitesse-uit is very different from De Graafschap-home or FC Emmen-home. It’s a challenge, I’m looking forward to it, ‘says Wormuth, who still can not have four injured players. There are a number of doubts, but they seem to be able to make the kickoff.
