Prediction for Juventus – Chievo

Juventus – Chievo, the front runners awaiting the tables. Juventus are on their way to the 6th championship in a row, but they have lost a bit of the lead and will now be at least six points away from second placed AS Roma. Chievo Verona is 20 points behind the international squares and 21 points lead over the descent zone completely in the Niemandsland of the table.

After the previous 29 duels, the balance sheet speaks a clear language. With 20 wins and eight draws, Juventus lost only once against Chievo – in the 2009/10 season in Verona. In Turin are nine home wins and five draws in the statistics after 14 comparisons.

Juventus

Juventus have lost the third game after the short Christmas break at AC Florence with a 1: 2 loss, but have remained undefeated until Wednesday 15 times in a row with 13 wins and two draws. And also the failure on Wednesday in the semifinals behind Coppa Italia at the SSC Naples did not really hurt, as the 3: 1 victory from the first leg nevertheless the final. In the Champions League, Juventus drew a convincing victory in the quarterfinals with two struggling victories against FC Porto, and in Serie A, the defeat in Florence was followed by six victories at a time. After that the old lady had to be satisfied with a 1: 1 win at Udinese Calcio but then won twice against AC Milan (2: 1) and Sampdoria Genoa (1: 0). Last weekend and three days before the trophy back, Juve also played in Naples, keeping a 1: 1 away from one of the chasers.

It is possible that some of the other players are spared. Apart from Marko Pjaca and Moise Kean, all men are available for a rotation.

Already at Christmas, Chievo Verona, with 25 points from the first 18 games, had drawn up a full pad of ten points on the first descent. As a result, Chievo was not in serious danger, despite three defeats to the start of the new year, with Coppa Italia coming from AC Florence (0-1). With victories in Lazio Rome (1: 0) and Sassuolo Calcio (3-1) and a 0-0 win against Udinese Calcio, the fear of a crash was eliminated from the 22nd to the 24th day. This was followed by a 1: 3 home defeat against SSC Napoli, which was promptly answered with a 2-0 win against Delfino Pescara.
