West Ham – Liverpool SOCCER PICKS

The 24th game of the English Premier League will probably go down in the history books of this season as one of the craziest. With Arsenal FC and Tottenham only two teams from the top six of the classification won their games, while other teams disgraced to the bone. Manchester City lost to Newcastle, ManUtd lost to Burnley as well as Liverpool to Leicester, and Chelsea were surprisingly clear in the 4-0 draw at Bournemouth. From the perspective of the “Reds”, however, the draw against the former champions was to cope well, as the advantage in the table could still be increased to five counters. At the end of the 25th match day, the charges are required on Monday evening in the capital.

West Ham are against Liverpool as a blatant outsider in the game, which is primarily due to the recent results. The “Hammers” lost twice in a row in a foreign country and presented themselves weak. At home, however, the Londoners hailed only one defeat from the recent five games, which is why the guests from the Merseyside should not underestimate the task. Liverpool also did not always shine with fame, but still found a way to win most of the matches. Often it took until late in the second half, before finally the greater quality prevailed. For the match West Ham vs.. Liverpool is a forecast that again more goals after the break fall, therefore obvious.

West Ham:

West Ham United is currently in the famous no man’s land of the table. The Londoners ranked in twelfth place, but are already 14 points behind sixth, but also twelve points ahead of the first relegation place. The form curve of the “Hammers” showed recently rather down, because of the past six official games celebrated the team of coach Manuel Pellegrini only a threesome (at home against Arsenal FC). In the Premier League it hailed last two sensitive bankruptcies in the foreign. Both in Bournemouth (0-2) and at the Wolverhampton Wanderers (0-3), the capital club remained virtually no chance and therefore said goodbye from the top half of the table. Particularly embarrassing was the appearance in the FA Cup, where West Ham in a small London derby at third division AFC Wimbledon drew the short straw. What attracted attention during all three of these games: more goals were scored in the second round. In the Premier League, the “Irons” went four times in a row with a goalless draw into the cabin, before in halftime two equal ten times the ball fidgeted in the net.

For Monday night, Marko Arnautovic and Co. will again make it to zero as long as possible so as to possibly cause some impatience with the favored opponent. However, whether this succeeds over the entire 90 minutes, may be doubted. Risking a tip on the Hammers in the current form of the home side between West Ham and Liverpool is probably not a good option. At home in the London Stadium, the Pellegrini-Elf is certainly a bit more rated than in a foreign country, which is also supported by the statistics. While West Ham collected 17 points at home and won five matches, it was only 14 away and four games to celebrate. In five of the past seven Premier League home games of the “Irons”, betting on a scoreless second round would have been right. So why not on Monday evening against the current leader of the highest English league? The stakes of Marko Arnautovic and Lukasz Fabianski are still in the balance. However, Aaron Creswell could return to the squad, while Samir Nasri will not be available, as well as the long-term injured Reid, Balbuena, Sanchez, Wilshere and Yarmolenko.

Liverpool:

Missed the chance! During the week, Liverpool Football Club had the opportunity to extend their lead over Manchester City to seven points at home to Leicester City. Because probably the hardest competitor, the Citizens, lost their away game at Newcastle United with 1: 2, the charges of Jürgen Klopp home against the “Foxes” would have been a simple victory to make another big step towards the championship, but despite In an early lead, the Reds finally had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The gap to Manchester City has thus grown to five points, although Tottenham is after the victory on Saturday currently only four points behind the leader.

Nonetheless, the prospects for the first Premier League title since 1990 have continued to be bright, of course. The away game at West Ham United should now be a feasible hurdle, especially since Liverpool in the past at the London City Club usually did quite well. The youngest four direct duels in the English Eliteliga won the kickers from the Merseyside all. They always get exactly four goals. Because in the match West Ham vs.. However, if Liverpool’s forecast odds were set too low for a “normal” away win, attention should be drawn to another betting market. For example, it would be an alternative to bet that the defense around Kepper Alisson will be without a goal for the seventh time away this season. Also obvious is between West Ham and Liverpool, however, a hint that only after the half-time speech and possible changes by Jürgen Klopp “right off the post”. Also against Crystal Palace (4: 3 after 0: 1 at halftime) or in Brighton (1-0 after 0: 0 at halftime) made the front-runner only in the second round for a decision. Liverpool scored in the second half significantly more goals (33) than in the first 45 minutes (22), but also conceded more goals. In this respect, an empirical basis for the recommendation is given in addition. The ailing Virgil van Dijk, Jordan Henderson and Georgino Wijnaldum are questionable. Alexander-Arnold, Gomez and Chamberlain are still out of action for the longer term.
