Watford – Man. United Prediction & Preview and Betting Tips (28.11.2017)

Watford-vs.-Manchester-United

Manchester United remains somewhat in the footsteps of Manchester City, but in the away match against the well-performing Watford one might well run into ugly point loss.

Watford :

Watford continues to perform surprisingly well in the Premier League and currently occupies eighth place. After thirteen games, The Hornets have collected 21 points and that is pretty much, especially when you consider that teams like Liverpool and Tottenham have a maximum of three points more than Watford. Of course Watford can not take part seriously in the top four, but a solid spot in the middle is certainly possible.

There is a very good football played by the team of manager Marco Silva. Last weekend we saw an impressive Watford football that not only kept the nil, but also scored three times against Newcastle United. For the seventh time this season, Watford made at least two goals in an away game. Watford refuses to seek the defense when it has taken the lead and that is what the team praises.

In that respect, it is unfortunate for Watford that it will play a home match on Tuesday instead of an away match. Watford lost two of his last four games in his own home (including 0-6 from Manchester City), but he managed to win the other two games. For example, Arsenal (2-1) won, and Watford managed to keep the zero against West Ham United. Watford is therefore absolutely not without a chance against Manchester United.

Manchester United :

Manchester United also continues to collect its points in the Premier League. At the moment Manchester United is the only team that manages to stay in Manchester City’s track, but the gap is still eight points. That seems almost impossible to make up for, as Manchester City continues to grab points and is simply flawless. Manchester United is not.

Last weekend, The Red Devils got off to a good start with the 1-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion. In the first half, Brighton was the better-playing team and, if it had been a bit clearer for the goal, it could have taken a lead. Manchester United did not like that much and it was significant that a shot from Ashley Young had to take care of the liberating 1-0, because there was little available for the victory.

Even the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic did not provide the necessary fireworks, but the Swedish attacker could do half an hour. He is getting closer and closer to a basic place and the somewhat disappointing Romelu Lukaku must therefore fear his place in the point of attack. Manchester United scored only two times in its last four away games and one of those goals came in the name of the Belgian. The last two away games of United, at Huddersfield (2-1) and Chelsea (1-0), were both lost.
